A New Way to Heal the Mind & Body
Guest Blog, Nick Ortner

Sharing this great article my friend, Nick Ortner, wrote and had published in the Huffington Post last week about this exciting new field of Energy Healing, which is bringing science and quantum physics into the forefront of a breakthrough way to heal physical and emotional issues.

Eastern medicine has given us yoga, acupuncture, herbal medicine, meditation, and more. Yet, these modalities have long been given the cold shoulder by Western medicine and culture. Yet, more and more research is proving and quantifying what were once considered esoteric and unsubstantiated ways to heal.

The front runner, perhaps–as far as popularity, diversity, effectiveness, and simplicity go–is currently EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), also known as meridian tapping or needleless acupuncture.

Often mocked as this "strange tapping" that looks silly, especially when done by adults, EFT is finally being backed by very real science (and results!).

Two researchers, Dr. David Feinstein and Dr. Dawson Church, have been able to confirm that tapping on specific meridian points has a positive effect on cortisol levels. In addition, results showed lower levels of psychological symptoms, including anxiety, depression.

According to Dr. Feinstein, peer-reviewed EFT research is showing surprisingly fast improvements with a variety of disorders.
