* Do you find it hard to raise your rates yet are barely getting by with what you do charge?

These are all signs that you have a “stuck” money setpoint. And until you raise your money thermostat, you will continue to experience this barrier to earning–and keeping–more of those dollars.

5 Ways to Activate the Power of Gratitude

struggle-ends-when-gratitude-begins5 Ways to Activate the Power of Gratitude (part 2 of series)

In last week's blog, How Gratitude Improves Your Bottom Line, I explained how gratitude works on a spiritual and even scientifically verifiable way emotionally, to be able to better attract people/resources/circumstances to you that will help you get clients and make money as well as to tap into the creative, problem-solving part of your brain that will help you come up with solutions or new ideas to turn things around in challenging times (which there WILL be when you are a business owner).

I promised to share in this next blog some specific ways that I and my clients and readers have used that have helped us to get measurable (and often very quick) results from tapping into the power of gratitude.

How Gratitude Improves Your Bottom Line

gratitude why get moreHow Gratitude Improves Your Bottom Line (Especially When Times Are Tough)

What do you do when business isn’t going so well, and all the “doing” you are doing still doesn’t seem to be yielding new business, and you’re starting to feel the fear well up?

Do what I have learned to do: Stop and be grateful.

“What?!” you may exclaim. “How can I be grateful when more money is going out than is coming in?”

It seems counter-intuitive, but being grateful for both what IS and what ISN’T, for what you HAVE and what you DON’T HAVE, is a big key to helping turn things around.

I have proven this time and again in my business (even when I forgot for a while and had to bring myself back to this knowing). So have others.

Secrets to Getting What You Want

Do you have a pattern of attracting more of what you DON'T want than
  what you DO want?

* Are you frustrated with Law of Attraction principles that don't seem to work
  (or take a long time)?

* Is there something specific you have been trying to manifest in your business (or life) that
   keeps eluding you?

Believe it or not, you are a POWERFUL MANIFESTOR! You just might not be PURPOSEFULLY manifesting in a way that creates what you want, or that lengthens the time it takes.

This is one of the 3 Keys I teach my business clients in order to more easily and quickly create the business success they desire. And to share a bit of that with you, I have created the 30 Days of Manifesting & Prosperity Challenge on Facebook.

Oh No–I Lost A Client When I Raised My Rates!

oh no faceOh No–I Lost A Client When I Raised My Rates!

One of my clients recently sent me an email telling me she lost her first long-time client as a result of her fee increase and change in service structure. She said it didn't feel good.

We made these changes in order to grow her business and help people in a bigger way, and devised a plan to phase her long-time, loyal clients into the new structure and fees and communicate with them about the changes and the benefits to them.

She was totally congruent about the change, and until now all of her current clients were okay with it as well. But when she encountered the first one who said they would not be continuing to come see her, the "Oh no!" thought came in and she started to doubt and feel bad/sad about losing someone she had worked with and developed a relationship with over the years. Here's some perspective and a tapping script I shared with her:

Guest Blog, David Neagle

This week’s question from “The Neagle Code: Directions for Life”:

Hi David,
You’ve mentioned the law, “If you have a strong enough desire for something, the money MUST be there.” Please say more about how this works. For instance, if I SHOULD manifest enough money to pay off debt, does this mean that I don’t DESIRE it enough to manifest the money because it’s more of a “should?” Or, in another case, if I really, really desire the $12,000 diamond necklace I saw in a window yesterday, am I likely to …

Manifesting Techniques I Use–Mind Movies

If you've been exposed to Law of Attraction principles or positive thinking teachers, you've probably heard of Vision Boards or Vision Maps. This is where you create a collage of pictures (usually cut our from magazines, or drawn if you have such talent) and words/quotes that represent the things you want to be/do/have in your life. It's a visual representation of your desires.

Looking at these images every day is supposed to help keep you focused on and resonating with your desires to help the Universe bring them into your life. Many people, including success teachers like John Assaraf and Jack Canfield, have told stories about how they manifested things that they put on their vision boards.

I have made vision boards myself in the past, and several years ago I created a Vision Book (a flip-page sketch book with the pictures and words pasted on them, two pages for each area of my life, like career, finanances, relationships, health, travel, spiritual growth, and "things").

But a few years ago I found something even better! Mind Movies!

Manifesting Techniques I Use–Scripting

Imagine that you’re a writer and each day you get to decide how your life will play out. Every morning, you sit down, relax and write or type tthe details everything you choose to experience today. If you allow scripting to be a fun, magical exercise, you will create a space of possibilities without resistance.

"Scripting is one of those processes that… assist you in telling the Universe the way you want it to be. If you are already in vibrational harmony with your desire, you know it, because your desire is already a physical reality. But if there is something that you want that has not yet come to fruition, then scripting is a good way to speed it up. Scripting will help you break your habit of talking about things as they are, and will help you begin talking about how you would like things to be. Scripting will help you off your [negative] vibration deliberately." Ask and It is Given, by Esther Hicks © Abraham-Hicks Publications

Manifesting 101

What exactly is "manifestation?"

A simple definition I like is "the continuous process of creation."

What we don't realize is that we are already perfect manifestors. We've always been manifesting every single thing that we are experiencing in our lives at every moment.

Whether it’s the words you're reading right now, the seat you're sitting in, the wind howling outside your window, the relationships you have, or the money you're currently making, you're the one that created it.

For good or not, most of the things in our lives we have created "unconsciously." So when we try to manifest something consciously (on purpose), we get stuck.
